Divalyn Gordon

Divalyn L. Gordon is the new Executive Director of Early Childhood Programs, she has spent over two decades in pre-K–12 public education. During her tenure as a classroom teacher she was one of the first Pre-K classroom educators under the Tennessee Voluntary Pre-K grant in 2001. She has experience as an elementary and alternative school administrator. She has a strong background in pre-K–12 instructional leadership to provide unique insights into how Pre-K/Head Start can support our most vulnerable children to become school ready.
